James Pattinson five-fer gives Brisbane Heat fifth win
In chase of 111, James Pattinson and Mujeeb ur Rehman beat Adelaide Strikers by seven wickets at The Gabba on Tuesday January 14, 2020. Making Big Bash debut, AB de Villiers scored 40 with a partnership of 77 with Matthew Renshaw.
Mujeeb didn’t get the wicket but he put a lot of pressure on other side and he gave only 14 runs in four overs. Opening a terrible start, Strikers got off their top three batsmen early in single-digit scores.
Rashid Khan remained a top scorer and made 28.
Chris Lynn got a duck on first-ball and Rashid Khan knock off Max Bryant in the second over. Then AB de Villiers comes to the crease and facing first ball of Rashid Khan he hit a cover drive.
